Before leaving for Buffalo on Sunday, I not only got to shoot another senior photo session- I got to shoot with my mom along side me. It was great getting to work with my mom (who needs to get a real camera because she could be great), but the sense of time I developed while working with my husband as my assistant went right out the window! Thankfully, Jill was not only an excellent sport, but an amazing model as well. We started out by getting lost on our way to Hinkley Lake and continued to shoot for a few hours. Three outfits and a few hundred photos later we decided to start heading back with a detour at North Royalton High School (my alma mater and now Jill’s) for some photos in her cap and gown and cheerleading uniform. We got some great shots! Thanks for being an awesome model!
Jill just graduated earlier this month. Congratulations Jill; and best wishes for your future!

This past Saturday, I went out to Squire’s Castle to shoot senior photos for my cousin, Jamie. Usually, we have to work around wedding parties coming for pictures after the wedding, but this time we encountered an actual wedding! Fortunately, they had limited their takeover of the castle to one room and a van parked along one side. We had a great time working both in the castle and the forest surrounding it. Jamie’s pictures are looking great! Here are a few to show what a great model my cousin is!
Thanks Jamie, for a great session!

This past Friday, I drove back to Cleveland for my cousin, Jessyka’s, senior portraits. We started shooting at Coe Lake, but once we started getting into the groove the rain started. Luckily, we got some great shots prior to the rain and after (thanks to the gazebo and some improvisation). Thanks guys for being so flexible and up for about anything! Here are just a few of my early favorites…

This past weekend, I got a chance to meet the family of a friend of mine from church. Her entire family was in from out of town, so we jumped on the chance to get some shots with the whole family together. We went out to the waterfront and got some shots at an amazing condo that over looks the Erie Basin Marina. The shoot started out a bit rough- 4 kids often don’t mix well with formal portraiture, but once I got the kids more involved some great shots unfolded in front of me! Everyone was so nice and looked great! Thanks, everyone for such a fun session!
