Last weekend, I made the trek to Cleveland yet again to shoot my cousin, Sarah’s wedding. This past winter, I did an engagement session with them at Squire’s Castle. We did have to limit the time due to the cold and massive amount of snow on th ground; but the photographs we did get were amazing. The wedding was nothing short of what I expected. Sarah looked absolutely stunning in her mother’s wedding dress that had been revamped for her (the sleeves were removed as well as a bow by the butt). A lot of the items Sarah used for her wedding were passed down. She wore a pearl necklace that was her Grandmother’s and her purse was hand-crocheted with fabric from an old wedding dress as the lining. (As you can probably tell- I am a sucker for things like this)

Anyway, the ceremony was beautiful and I had my first chance to do some work from a balcony (and I must say that it was love at first shot). After the ceremony, the bridal party climbed on to a party bus- The Retro Rider. This bus was great- complete with animal print cushions and a pole!

The reception went unbelievably smooth- especially since we had to do some pictures during the reception. We did luck out though; the hall’s grounds were unbelievably amazing and we were able to sneak out for a few minutes at a time to get some photos of Dave and Sarah. The DJ was great as well. They were very organized, had the schedule down, were extremely professional (while being fun at the same time), and they played music by Jim Brickman. So if you need a DJ check out Jesse Webb Entertainment- you won’t be sorry that you did!

And with all that being said, enjoy a few of my favorite images from the day…

Look at how gorgeous this girl is. I did nothing to this picture (other than resize it)

Ahh. The balcony shots. <Swoon>

A little ring action

Did you not believe me when I said that there was a pole on the bus?

Sweet dreams!

An awesome shot we were able to sneak in before the bridal party was introduced…

Ha, ha! Do I need to elaborate on this one? *Make sure you enlarge this one to get the full effect with her expression*

Ha, ha! If you could only see the look I got from the bartender when I asked for this drink and plopped the rings in the glass right in front of her!

fully awake+struggling to remove a tux shirt+not wanting his photo taken = Austin

And did I mention that my talented hubby got to enjoy this wedding almost entirely as a guest? Yep! I commissioned him to get one really important shot during the ceremony and he was released for the night. Filling in for him was my mom, and I must say that she had a couple gems come off her camera for her not working with a real camera in decades!

Here are a couple of her lovely images-

Congratulations Dave and Sarah!
