Day After

This was Day After Session #2 for me- and I had an amazing couple (Rick and Jessica) who chose an amazing location ( an old train depot in Copley). There was never any doubt that this session was not only going to yield some awesome photos, but be a total blast as well (even though we were all a bit tired from their wedding the day before). When I showed up at our meeting place, I wasn’t sure what exactly to expect because we had to scrap our initial diner idea (that I absolutely loved) for a place I had never heard of. The location was love at first sight! Jessica fit perfectly into the scenery; as did her living accessory for the day (Rick). The only thing missing was an old gun that Rick wished he had brought with him!

Thank you, Rick and Jessica for an awesome session!

A few months ago, Rob and I met an awesome newly-married couple at a Super Bowl party my Brother-In-Law was hosting.  We discussed the possibility of doing a Day After Session sometime in the near future.  Yesterday, it finally happened.  I must say that it was well worth the wait.  Mark and Meghan were excellent models so we got some amazing photos on top of the good time we were having.

It did start out with some disappointment though.  The initial plan was to start the session on Saturday evening at a small carnival.  First, we were rained out for Saturday.  Then, we were able to reschedule for Monday and the carnival had disappeared by Monday morning!

So, we started up Main Street in Williamsville and it more than made up for the early disappointment.  There were some amazing backgrounds and some interesting reactions from spectators- one person working at a dog grooming shop will probably be talking about it for years to come (What can they expect by posting signs that say “Oh you dirty dog” and “all dogs must be leashed?”)!

Thank you Mark & Meghan for an awesome session!  We wish you many blessings in the years to come!
